Bella modeling my Doggy Scarf

I was thinking to myself and thought, “I have a lot of yarn. I should start knitting again and use it all.” I’ve been trying to learn to knit for 5 years now. Someone would teach me, and then I would forget. So I pulled up some videos on youtube, and I learned! Again!

Turns out, knitting is really fun. So I was trying to get my husband to let me buy more yarn, when I my Dad came up with a brilliant idea. “You should make scarves for dogs.” Kei said, “Yes”; So I did! You can see the result of my first scarf, brilliantly modeled by my friends dog, Bella. Poor thing looks like shes choking. But we all thought it was too funny, so I had to share it.

The design is really easy, with a button hole to slip the scarf end around your dog.  This way there are no buttons or hooks for dogs to chew on and choke. I’m trying to get some scarves made before next fall, so you can plenty to choose from. Nothing too fancy, but they will each be unique with pretty colors and different sizes. I will sell them from my website primarily, but I was going to try to get them in a few boutiques around Denver.
